The Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce (VACC) is Virginia's leading authority on Asian business, economic development, and workforce development. With more than 300 individual and organizational supporters and members, VACC advances learning, knowledge exchange, and domestic and international economic development activities to help Asian entrepreneurs and professionals better themselves and to create better communities worldwide,.
As champion of the Asian economic development movement in Virginia, the United States, and the world, VACC offers world-class concepts, tools, training, and technologies to new and existing Asian businesses and professionals, field practitioners, and non profit organizations that are interested in helping create better communities through individual leadership model.
Global Overview
VACC leaders have informed and advised the Virginia General Assembly, national and international government agencies, state legislatures, and other groups and individuals on topics related to Virginia Asian economic development.
Globally, AABAC has formed relationships with nations, US, and other Virginia based organization in both the public and private sectors that share similar ideals. Our collaborative efforts are helping to energize the economic engine of Virginia Asian companies, individuals, and organizations worldwide so they can beat global competition.
Created in June 2004, and known as the "Asian American Business Assistance Center or AABAC", the Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce has helped its members and leaders won the first " Richmond History Maker Award" on its "Regional Collaboration" honour category - which annually recognizes individuals that have achieved leadership excellence.
VACC also helped its leader win the 2005 prestigious "Cannon Good Neighborhood Award " which celebrates the spirit of volunteerism and community development.
