About the Virginia Asian Foundation

Virginia Asian Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Hanover County, Virginia with charitable activities and measurement community impact throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Our Mission

The mission of the Virginia Asian Foundation is to empower, educate, and advance Asian American and underserved communities throughout Virginia by expanding access to education, economic opportunities, essential resources, leadership development, and meaningful civic and community engagement.

Through charitable initiatives, educational programs, strategic partnerships, community outreach, and capacity-building opportunities, the Foundation works to strengthen individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and communities; remove barriers to opportunity; cultivate future generations of leaders; and promote greater economic mobility, social well-being, cultural understanding, and civic participation.

Grounded in two plus decades of grass-roots community service and engagement, the Virginia Asian Foundation is committed to building a more inclusive, connected, resilient, and prosperous Virginia where individuals and communities have the knowledge, resources, opportunities, and voice to thrive.
