Broader Industry Engagement Experience
Over the past several years, VACC Industry Councils have actively engaged stakeholders across key sectors of Virginia’s economy, including Aerospace, Maritime, Defense, and Financial Technology. These efforts have included convening entrepreneurs, industry leaders, government partners, and private sector stakeholders through our statewide symposiums, conferences, executive leadership forums, and business engagement initiatives designed to strengthen collaboration and expand economic opportunity. This experience continues to inform VACC’s broader approach to ecosystem development and cross-sector connectivity as we continue to advance our current strategic focus on high-growth industries, innovation-driven sectors, and global investment opportunities, which reflect in our year-round initiatives
Virginia’s Tourism and Hospitality economy has recently been recognized as a key economic industry sector by the Commonwealth. While VACC has not yet convened a dedicated summit in this area, it expects to engage tourism stakeholders and industry partners in upcoming programming as part of its broader industry engagement and economic development strategy
